Orders

When you place an order with Commerce Media Group, the order is final.
Approval of artwork proofs and payment must be completed within trading terms as per Invoice.

Fees to be aware of

Commerce Media Group has a simple pricing structure for printing and design to make it easy for you control costs. Here are some extra fees you need to be aware of:

  1. Artwork Resubmission Fee – $25.00 inc gst is payable when resubmitting your artwork after Commerce Media Group has already emailed you a proof of your original artwork submitted. Even minor changes to your artwork require this fee.
  2. Artwork Edit Fee – $35.00 inc gst is payable if you require Commerce Media Group to edit or fix a minor problem with your artwork. Permission must be granted by the customer first. Complex artwork problems will be quoted upfront.
  3. Order Cancellation Fee – $65.00 inc gst is payable if you cancel an order after paying any portion, or Commerce Media Group has proofed artwork. This is to cover administration, accounts and prepress costs.

Email Proof

You will receive one (1) free proof for each item ordered. Proofs provided by Commerce Media Group are an indication of the final printed product only. Variations in colour or trim can be a result of the printing process. No reprints at our cost will be printed. Resubmission of DIY artwork requires another proof to be prepared and emailed which costs $35.00 inc gst.

Colour Variations

Our printing products may have colour variations from what you have seen on screen, to what the final product looks like. Colour variations may also exist between the front and back of the card, and previous orders can also be expected. This is the nature of CMYK offset printing and bulk-run printing. Different finishes, laminates and stock variations over time will also create variations in colour.

For the most precise colour matching service, we recommend puchasing a Pantone colour for your printing.

Trimming of printing

All printing products are trimmed. Trimming of printing products may shift up to 2mm in any direction, therefore our DIY Artwork Guidelines should be properly adhered to minimize risk of trimming affecting the look of the print.

Commerce Media Group Designed Artwork

Artwork designed by Commerce Media Group remains copyrighted to Commerce Media Group and it’s designers until paid for in full. Unless otherwise stated in the product description.

Commerce Media Group’s working files remain the property of Commerce Media Group, even after a project is complete. Working files include but are not limited to vector files, layered files, fonts, linked files, and stock photography licenses. Commerce Media Group reserves the right not to release these files, and charge fees for providing files at its own discretion.

Accepting Proofs

When accepting artwork proofs from Commerce Media Group, you are held fully responsible for accepting all content. This includes design, spelling, grammar, numbers, layout and all content. It is your responsibility to request another copy if your proof is difficult to read. We will print exactly what is accepted in the final proof. No reprints at our expense will be printed.

Turnaround

Production turnaround will vary. The average turnaround time for most printing products is 10 business days, this is not a guarantee but a guide. Production does not commence until the Proof is approved and the Order is paid for in full, for business account holders this does not apply. Design time is extra. Commerce Media Group will not be held responsible for loss or damages due to items being delivered after this time. It is the customer’s responsibility to allow plenty of time for preparing artwork, production and delivery.

Delivery

Commerce Media Group will not be held liable for products that are lost, damaged or delayed when delivered by post or courier. All deliveries are left on premises if no one is present to receive the delivery, so it is the customer’s responsibility to provide a suitable address or PO Box. If Commerce Media Group can provide a consignment number of the freight company, then it is the customer’s responsibility to liase with the freight company if needed.

If an incorrect address is provided by the customer, then redelivery will incur extra charges set by Commerce Media Group.

Accounts

All products must be paid for in full before they are sent to production, unless a specific arrangement has been made or a company account has been setup. The production process will may be stalled until full payment has been confirmed by Commerce Media Group.

Payments by electronic funds transfer or cheque must be fully processed and received before production commences. An account is considered overdue if payment in full has not been received for an order in over 30 days from the time of approval of artwork proof is given by any method. Commerce Media Group reserves the right to process payment using a payment method previously supplied by the customer for overdue orders.

Interest may be charged on any overdue accounts, and the customer agrees to pay any and all costs, fees, expenses, inclusive of commissions, legal expenses and disbursements incurred in obtaining or attempting to obtain payment of any overdue account.

Prices

While care has been taken in quoting correct prices, Commerce Media Group has the right to remove or change products and prices without notice. All quotes are valid for 30 days only and may be subject to change after this period. All offshore freight charges are subject to the value of the Australian dollar and inflation at the time of dispatch from its origin.

Feedback & Complaints

Customers who believe that their printing product is not up to standard are required to follow this procedure:

  1. Email info@commercemedia.com.au with a valid Order Number, and a concise description of their feedback.
  2. If the quality of a product is concerned, then Commerce Media Group may request a sample by mailed to 17 flight drive Drive Tullamarine VIC 3043
  3. Commerce Media Group will not be held liable for errors caused by the customer’s artwork, delivery of the product or minor imperfections that fall within acceptable offset printing standards.

Please note that Commerce Media Groups requires all feedback to be submitting in writing (email preferred). Commerce Media Group reserves the right to refuse to accept any goods which are returned after more than 7 days from dispatch date. Commerce Media Group values honest and respectful feedback.
